Course objective

  • –  To illustrate to students the variety of automotive complexities and instruct how to advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
  • –  To teach the student how to develop estimates ,fill customer orders from stock and place order when requested items are not available while keeping track of inventories and estimated time of arrival
  • –  To showcase to the student how to assist customers, such as responding to complaints, updating about back-order parts and advising them on options
  • –  To enable the student maintain automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions planned
  • To give information on how to locate and label parts and maintain inventory of stock
    1. Upon completing the course, the student will be able to :
      • –  Provide exceptional service to all customers and vendors
      • –  Process customer orders and recommend additional related repair items
      • –  Gain superior product knowledge and understanding of vehicle components to effectively help customers
      • –  Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking and shipping
      • –  Help maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the service counter, work area and stockroom
      • –  Maintain records of time, expenses and materials.Understand the various steps in the overall operation of an automotive dealership
